Nick Kyrgios smashes two rackets and curses at umpire in Cincinnati defeat

(CNN) — Nick Kyrgios is in hot water after walking off the court to smash rackets and phoning an umpire that a“f***ing tool“
After winning the opening series in his three-set defeat Russia’s Karen Khachanov on Wednesday in the Western and Southern Open at Cincinnati, Kyrgios was hit by some time violation in the second set for taking too long between functions.
While seated between games, he exclaimed:“That’s humorous, if Rafa (Nadal) performs that quick I’m retiring from tennis.
„Total crap… disgrace. Get me some footage of Rafa enjoying that quick, that game.
„If you’re able to get any of that I’ll shut my mouth never talk again.“
Following Khachanov won the second set 7-6 (7-4), he predicted umpire Fergus Murphy“the eldest Dean ***ing ref in history, the worst ref in the sport.

Walking away
Shortly after his outburst Kyrgios took a bathroom break that Murphy, citing insufficient time remaining at the changeover, had denied him permission to shoot.
Having left the courtroom with just two rackets, cameras caught the entire world 27 breaking them making his way back to the court.
After the defeat, the Kyrgios named Murphy a“f***ing tool“ and spat to the courtroom at the chair umpire’s direction prior to leaving.
Kyrgios seems probable to be seeded for the US Open starting on August 26.

Maybe not the first time
This is not the first time Kyrgios has expressed his displeasure in umpire Murphy’s decision making.
Fourteen days ago, in the Washington Open, the Australian collaborated together with Murphy, before heading on to win the championship.
Kyrgios has a long history of bad behavior on courtroom.

He had been fined in May after he kicked a bottle, threw his racket over the ground and hurled a seat in the final set of a match in the Open.
He was fined 13,766 pounds ($16,670) for unsportsmanlike behaviour at Queen’s in June.
